Test Driven: 2012 Audi A7

Four-door coupes are one of the fastest-growing segments in this country.  Mercedes started the ball rolling with the CLS, and as of now, the other two German luxury brands have answered the call with interpretations of their own.  BMW recently launched the 6-Series Gran Coupe, while Audi started selling their entry last year, the A7.  Towards the end of December 2011, my father and I stopped by the local dealer and drove this stunning white example to find out how good the A7 is. Subaru BRZ at the Fort Lauderdale International Auto Show

On Sunday, I was fortunate enough to have someone at the Subaru booth at the Fort Lauderdale International Auto Show unlock the Subaru BRZ for me to take a video and a few extra pictures.  Pictures are available after the jump.  As of Tuesday, we know that orders are being taken now, and production will be starting soon.  Sales will start sometime next month, or in early May.

Obscure Auto: Toyota 2000GT

Just keep staring at it. I know I can't stop staring at it.

Before the Nissan Skyline GT-R, there was the Toyota 2000GT, widely regarded to be the first truly collectable Japanese car, and one of the first true Japanese supercars.  Toyota, up until that point, was widely considered to be the producer of rather dull, basic automobiles.  When the 2000GT hit the streets, though, the notion of Japanese cars being “boring” was shattered.
