Spotted! Ferrari FF vs Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, Detroit, MI

These two Ferraris were in the car park at the 2012 Detroit Grand Prix on Belle Island. This is the first FF I have gotten up close with, and it just happened to be parked next to the 612 that it replaced. The owner was very cool and was happy to open the car up and let people sit in it for a few minutes. It was cool to see the FF right next to the 612 Scaglietti because it really let me appreciate the leap in design that Ferrari has taken with the FF. See for yourself, and enjoy.

2011 will be remembered as many things by many people, but one thing it will not be seen as is a boring year. So much happened this year around the world, from terrible cataclysms to amazing and inspiring revolutions. Obviously being a car site, we want to focus more on the auto industry, but it would be a great injustice not to first acknowledge the events of this year that have changed the lives of millions of people around the globe. Unofficial Rendering of a Porsche 928 replacement
Word in the media is that Porsche is looking to build something to fill the price gap between the $300k 997 GT2 RS and the $870k 918 Spyder coming out in the near future. Many sources are talking about another mid engine sports car, or even quite literally a toned down 918. Just one question, who in the supercar market wants to buy the half assed, toned down version of another car? The answer is nobody. People who spend as much as a house on a car want “the best” and would not settle for having a “poor man’s” model of anything.
