Subaru’s reputation for stout, well-built AWD cars has been a cornerstone of their selling points for over twenty years now.  And about a decade ago, the turbocharged Impreza WRX showed that this company could build an excellent all-around sports sedan for not a lot of cash.  A few years later, they started turbocharging the Legacy and Outback, and gave a new reason for buyers to switch to a boxer engine and AWD. The History Of Subaru

This is a really cool look into the past. You can really see where Subaru started to get big and what it lead to. Lots of racing successes there. (including the year my car was built, not to brag or anything)

Test Driven: 2006 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited

Last month, I intended to test drive a Buick Regal Turbo, but after a walk around the used-car lot, I discovered this little gem on the used car lot.  It’s a 2006 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT Limited, and I’ve been seriously considering one for after I graduate next spring.  Faced with the opportunity, I decided to postpone driving the Buick and take this LGT for a drive instead.
