RM Sotheby’s had quite the smorgasbord of classic cars up for auction this year at Amelia Island. This 1985 Peugeot 205 Turbo-16 is a Holy Grail-type car for Eighties turbo addicts and Group B rally enthusiasts alike. Packing a 16-valve turbocharged four mounted right behind the seats, this little rally homologation special shared almost nothing with its more plebian brother save for some of the body panels. The final sale price was $156,800–well short of its projected $200K+ selling price. In any event, the new owner walked away with a true piece of history. Enjoy the photos.
