On the Saturday evening of our road trip, Nick, Shane, and I were heading to dinner during a bunch of haphazard thunderstorms. While walking to Duggan’s (home of some very excellent French Dip and Cuban sandwiches), we hit one of these storms, but came across this sleek black Buick just sitting in the parking lot of the Italian restaurant next door.

For the first time in my life, a car had taken precedence over Italian food while being within 50 feet of a restaurant. So, we shot pictures of this straight-as-an-arrow Grand National while we waited for the rain to stop. I want one of these old turbocharged Buicks, and I’d definitely be happy even with a clapped-out example that needs help. Enjoy the photos of this Reagan-era classic.
