A pristine Mercedes 300SL Gullwing in Scarsdale

Mercedes 300SL Gullwing at Scarsdale

Many of you see an old antique Mercedes here, but I see the first supercar. The Mercedes-Benz 300SL was a car that moved the bar for performance to an entirely new level in the 1950s. It was the first road car capable of reaching 150 mph, and it was raced extensively all over the world. The coupe version of the 300SL also had the fabulous gulling doors you see here, which really set it apart from anything else on the road.

Yes, today it is a classic, maybe even a museum piece, but I hope anyone lucky enough to own one of these cars has the dignity to let it stretch its legs, at least once in a while.

Motor Trend takes us out in the new Camaro ZL1

The new-gen Chevrolet Camaro has been pretty damn impressive thus far. How does the most powerful ZL1 model improve it? And could the manual version be faster than the fancy new 10 speed automatic around a racetrack?

Motor Trend makes us all want the Alfa Romeo Giulia QV even more

Does anyone really want an M3 anymore? I know I sure don’t.

I don’t care if it has half the horsepower of the LaFerrari, the F40 is still my favorite Ferrari hypercar.

Blacked-out VW CC at First Class Fitment

I do love the look of a lowered CC on some fresh wheels. I had planned to maybe do something like this with mine when I first got it, but I could never justify it when I could buy another Miata instead. They do look amazing, though. Ultra classy.

Lamborghini Aventador SV at the Greenwich Concours

Lamborghini Aventador SV Greenwich 4

Nothing makes an entrance quite like a SuperVeloce Lamborghini. The folks at Miller Motorcars decided to arrive fashionably late to the Greenwich Concours, and when they did they broke everyone’s necks. The Lamborghini Aventador 750-4 SV is the extreme Lambo of the moment, and this one was clothed in this rare deep blue with red accents.

It’s quite a looker, it costs more than your soul is worth, and supposedly, it can run the Nurburgring in under 7 mins in the right hands. Not bad for a parking lot spot, eh?

Enjoy!
