Team Salamone’s Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster with Chrome / Purple TRON Wrap

IMG_7847

We are huge fans of Team Salamone, and we always love photographing their car because it’s one of the wildest Lambos around. Here it is at Cars and Caffe last year. The chrome and purple color scheme was some serious next level stuff. Very different from the typical Lambo fruit salad look. We love it!

1951 Maserati A6G 2000 Pinin Farina at Amelia Island

IMG_0454

This beautiful blue 1951 Maserati A6G is one of just nine fitted with a Pinin Farina body. It was used as a test car used by Maserati to perfect the execution of the A6G, and has been returned to its original specification after being repainted over the years.

This Maser shone like a jewel on the show field at Amelia Island, sticking out even among the crowd of unbelievable cars around it.

Enjoy the gallery!

I’m not sure if this is a genuine Carrera RS or not, but I couldn’t pass up its highlighter yellow and blue color scheme. Definitely not a car that goes unnoticed.

Jay Leno drivers the Admiral’s blue Ferrari Mondial

We had the pleasure of seeing this car and having a nice chat with the Amiral a few years back at Radnor Hunt. It’s a very unique and striking Ferrari with some unbelievable stories.

Enjoy!

The ultimate Cayman thus far. This was one of three Cayman GT4s that showed up to Cars and Coffee, but it was the only one in red. Great look!

Ford Shelby Cobra Concept at the Amelia Island Concours

IMG_0937

I finally got to lay eyes on the Ford Shelby Cobra Concept at Amelia Island this year. It’s a car I’ve seen every day in the form of a 1/18th scale model on my shelf, so seeing it in the metal for real was quite a thrill.

This was a fully functioning car with a real engine. I’m not sure if the original show car was fully functional, but this one had been fitted with everything it needed for enjoyment on the road. I really wish Ford had actually put this car into production back in the day, but at least I know the current owner has made good on their car.

Enjoy this gallery of what could have been a magnificent competitor to the Dodge Viper back in the mid-2000s.

Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio at Concorso Ferrari

IMG_4032

The Alfa Stelvio QV is the SUV to have if you really wanted a high-performance sports sedan, but needed AWD and some extra practicality. This red one was at Concorso Ferrari, and I fell even more in love with it there.

Ferrari F12 next to a Prius in Greenwich, CT

IMG_3015

Like Yin and Yang in perfect harmony, the fast and ostentatious Ferrari F12 sat side by side with the slow and humble Toyota Prius. Two very different lifestyles met to attend the same festival of Automobillia, the Greenwich Concours.

It’s a lovely place.

Baby Blue Porsche 991 GT3 RS at Cars and Caffe

The 991 GT3 RS is one hell of a track machine, and this is one of my favorite colors I’ve ever seen one in. Classic Porsche style.
