This very clean red Evo caught my attention at First Class Fitment. It seemed to have just the right amount of camber for my taste, and I love that deck lid spoiler.

Crazy Dodge Dart Spotted outside First Class Fitment
We found this insane Dodge Dart in the parking lot of First Class Fitment. I’m not exactly sure what its fancy wrap is supposed to be (digital camo or something?) but it certainly catches the eye.
Save for its massive non-functional shopping cart spoiler, I really liked this Dart’s style.

It seemed like this year in particular, there were plenty of great representatives from the muscle car era at the Radnor Hunt Concours. When I think of the C3 Corvette, I usually come up with the late 1960s models like the ZL-1 and the L88 series cars with the 427. For whatever reason, probably because this engine was so famous for being the big option in the Chevelle SS, I occasionally forget about the 454 being an option in the ‘Vette after it launched in 1970. JDM Heaven at First Class Fitment
There were plenty of awesome Japanese performance cars at First Class Fitment 2015, including two Nissan Skylines and a few FD Mazda RX7s, among others. It was a nice slice of JDM heaven with a little extra stance sprinkled on top.

1963 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 at the Concours of America 2015

This isn’t just any run-of-the-mill split window Sting Ray. C2 Sting Rays are probably the most highly sought-after Corvettes of the brand’s sixty-plus year history, but the 1963 model can claim fame as quite a great story. The split window was a one-year option on the 1963 model year only, and that this is a Z06 and a development mule makes our featured car here a great story itself. Singer Porsche 911 at the Radnor Hunt Concours
A Singer 911 is one of the most beautiful vehicles that money (a lot of money) can buy these days. The painstaking fine detail work found these cars is right up there with Pagani, in my opinion, but it comes in the familiar package of an old-school Porsche 911.
There is a level of subtlety about a Singer 911 that you just don’t get with a show-stopping exotic hypercar, although it is surely no less special a machine. To most onlookers, a Singer 911 is just another Porsche rolling through town. It would take someone with a keenly trained eye to recognize the car for the rare masterpiece that it is out in the real world — at which point you can expect that person to immediately drop what they’re doing and give chase to snag a photo of it.
Outside of Monterey Car Week, this is the first Singer 911 I’ve seen out and about in my area, the Northeast USA. We caught it in the car corral at the Radnor Hunt Concours d’Elegance this year, and it drew quite a crowd throughout the day. The owner was very gracious, and opened the car up to show off all of its magnificent details, which I’m now pleased to share with all of you.

The Exotic Car Circle at the Concours of America
These are our highlights from the exotic car circle at the Concours of America in Michigan. There was a gorgeous LaFerrari present (one of 2 at the event), a Porsche 918, and an Aston Martin Lagonda sedan, to name a few. It was quite a nice showing.
There are a ton of incredible cars in the Detroit area, with quite a bit of wealth concentrated outside the city itself. This was my second time at the Concours of America, and it has delivered spectacularly both times. Definitely worth the trip to Michigan if you have the time in late July.

Exotic Supercar Sounds from the Radnor Hunt Concours
We all know that no exotic car show is complete without some V12s echoing over the countryside as people leave the event. Luckily we were much obliged this year at the Radnor Hunt Concours d’Elegance. Everything from a V10 Lexus LFA to a straight pipe V12 Lamborghini Murcielago opened the taps as they left the show.
We were there with our cameras ready!

1970 Buick GSX at the 2015 Radnor Hunt Concours

Until Buick made this car, GM had some issues in the 1966-1971 War of Horsepower. They were clawing behind Chrysler and Ford Motor Co, thanks to a directive from GM that no intermediate car (midsize today) could have an engine larger than 400 cubic inches. Subaru Highlights From First Class Fitment
Many different makes of cars were represented at First Class Fitment this year, but Subarus are near and dear to my heart. As a WRX STI owner for the last 9 years, I enjoy being a part of the Subaru community, and I never miss doing the “Subie Wave.”
While my own car is not stanced, I do enjoy how Imprezas and Foresters looked when they’re done up right. These photos are my are my favorite Subarus from the show this year.

1974 Dodge Charger Rallye at the 2014 River Edge Car Show

1974 was the end of an era. The Dodge Charger was in its final year with its sleek, masculine lines, to be replaced the next year with a clone of the Chrysler Cordoba. In 1974, the Charger would see lower sales, yet people were still buying them. While a shadow of its former mighty self, the styling was a throwback to what used to be the coolest car on the street from Dodge save for the Challenger. Plenty of room inside, combined with attractive styling and strong engines, made the Charger, even in its waning days of youth, a sharp car to drive. In this chocolate brown finish, this particular car was set atop the hill for the 2014 River Edge Car Show and seemed to be cut off from the other Charger at the show, “Dodgezilla.” Yet, it displayed a touch of early-mid 70s class in this show, and the rims installed offered up a great stance for this old dog. This Stanced Toyota Previa is the Shaggin’ Wagon of the Century!
This thing is badass, I don’t care what anyone may think. It’s just so ’90s in all the right and wrong ways.
Many Previas even came with a supercharged engine, which I’m just going to assume this one has given the fact that someone deemed it worthy of customizing. They were also on a rear wheel drive platform, offering all wheel drive as well.
My dad had a light blue Toyota Previa back in the day. I don’t remember what year, or whether it was supercharged or not, but it is the first car I actually remember him buying when I was a kid. It was the car I began my 13 year ice hockey career in, and it got us to many-a 5 A.M. practice. Because of that, the Toyota Previa will always have a special place in my heart.
Previas are quite interesting, as minivans go, so I’m always glad when I see them getting some love from the enthusiast crowd. We saw this one recently at First Class Fitment.
