I LOVE the Blue on this Lamborghini Aventador!

Blue Lamborghini Aventador Amelia Island

Caught at the Lamborghini stand at Amelia Island, those bright orange brake calipers really make the blue pop.

Lamborghini Aventador SV at the Greenwich Concours

Lamborghini Aventador SV Greenwich 4

Nothing makes an entrance quite like a SuperVeloce Lamborghini. The folks at Miller Motorcars decided to arrive fashionably late to the Greenwich Concours, and when they did they broke everyone’s necks. The Lamborghini Aventador 750-4 SV is the extreme Lambo of the moment, and this one was clothed in this rare deep blue with red accents.

It’s quite a looker, it costs more than your soul is worth, and supposedly, it can run the Nurburgring in under 7 mins in the right hands. Not bad for a parking lot spot, eh?

Enjoy!

Modified Lamborghini Huracan at First Class Fitment

Slammed Lamborghini Huracan 2

This very red Lamborghini Huracan was one of the stars of the show at First Class Fitment this year. It was a bit slammed, and a little stanced, but just the right amount of each. The Huracan, in general, looks like a spaceship, but the mods on this one made it look even more out of this world.

I caught it on the road as it was leaving the show, as well. If it was cool in the show, surrounded by other amazing cars, out in traffic, surrounded by normal cars, it looked absolutely unreal.

Enjoy!

Lamborghini Murcielago 40th Anniversary Edition in Carmel, CA

Lamborghini Murcielago 40th Anniversary 1

This 40th Anniversary Murcielago was out and about during Monterey Car Week. I love funky colors on Lamborghinis, but particularly love the teal of the 40th Anniversary Edition because it not shamelessly bright.

Also, this was back before E-Gear took over, so this Lambo has three pedals. Win!

Highlights from the Scarsdale Concours d’Elegance

Porsche 918 Scarsdale Concours 5

We attended the Scarsdale Concours d’Elegance yesterday, and the turnout was great considering the iffy weather. This is a highlight reel, focusing on the details of the whole show. Look for individual galleries of many of these cars in the future. As you might imagine, the orange Porsche 918 Spyder above was the center of attention. Also, that American Flag Stingray is the car from the movie Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.

Turnout to the show was a little light this year, but the cars present were all of staggering quality. It figures that the people who really want to be at the show would also have the best stuff.

Enjoy the gallery!

A very wet Lamborghini Miura at the Greenwich Concours

Wet Lamborghini Miura Greenwich 3

It rained like hell at on the 2nd day of the Greenwich Concours this year. We spent most of our time enjoying wine tasting, eating our fill of as many (free) lobster sandwiches as we could stomach. When the rain did die down, we got photos of the cars, most of which are seldom photographed when soaking wet.

Here are some wet shots of this black Lamborghini Miura. You won’t see one shown like this in the RM Auctions catalog, that’s for sure.

Enjoy!

Lamborghini 400GT 2+2 Spotted on Amelia Island

Lamborghini 400GT 2+2 Amelia Island 1

This gorgeous gem was waiting for us in one of the event parking areas on Amelia Island. Burgundy might just be the best color on a Lamborghini 400GT 2+2, and it would’ve surely fit in just fine in the show itself.

Enjoy the photos!

Lamborghini PoloStorico and This Brand New (Again) 1971 Miura SV

Lamborghini Miura SV PoloStorico Restoration 7

This is a 1971 Lamborghini Miura SV. In fact, it is the first Miura SV, the one shown at the model’s debut at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show. You sure wouldn’t know it was over 40 years old, though, because it looks like it rolled off the production line a few hours ago.

This iconic Miura is the first restorative masterpiece of Lamborghini’s new factory restoration program, PoloStorico. While down at Amelia Island this year, Lamborghini was kind enough to send us an invite to their unveiling event. There, among some wonderful complimentary glasses of wine, we got to see the work of PoloStorico up close, as well as the massive grin on the owner’s face when the cover came off.

What’s really striking about this green Miura is just how perfect all of it’s minute details are. There are many nicely kept Miuras out there, but this thing was absolutely flawless. I mean, Lamborghini even re-did the paint job in the absolute period-correct way.

Calling this a restoration is almost a disservice because it’s really more a Miura reborn, nurtured to perfection again by its own mother. I’m quite sure Ferruccio is proud, wherever he is.

Enjoy the photos!

1991 Lamborghini Diablo at the Amelia Island Festivals of Speed

1991 Lamborghini Diablo Front Angle

For a brief moment in time, the Lamborghini Diablo was on top of its world.  With a top speed of 202 MPH, this was, for a short period of time, the fastest production car money could buy.  It was also the replacement for the radical, groundbreaking Countach, which had been in production since the cocaine-addled 1970s. This would also be the last Lambo built before the company was taken over by Volkswagen AG, so it’s a completely ridiculous, insane, fire breathing supercar with plenty of risk of breaking down at any time. Lamborghini LM002 Spotted at the Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island

Lamborghini LM002 Amelia Island 3

Lamborghini once made an SUV/Truck for the Italian military. This is the street version, the Lamborghini LM002. Think of it as a Humvee with more style, fine Italian leather, a manual gearbox, and the V12 from the Lamborghini Countach supercar. Yes, this is a V12 Lamborghini off-roader, and it’s badass as hell.

We caught this very rare green LM002 outside the Ritz Carlton, host to the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. We were in a hurry to get to an event, so I only shot it as we walked past, but it was unbelievably cool.

Dads, keep your daughters away from any guy who pulls up in one of these…
